As it stands, there’s no other way to unlock this mission, but Bethesda has indicated that it will be opened up to everyone further down the line. There’s some bad news here, and it’s that anyone who didn’t pre-order Rage 2 won’t have access to the Cult of the Death God mission. Those who played the first Rage might recognize that name as the main character from the original game! The main way you’ll earn new armor sets is through completing missions, but so far the only one we know of in the game is the Nicholas Raine armor from the Cult of the Death God mission. You won’t be able to adjust this setting until you’ve unlocked another armor set. Right at the bottom of the list here you’ll find a Player Armor option which allows you to swap between any available armor types. All you need to do is open up the Pause menu and select General Settings. Once you know how, changing armor is easy in Rage 2.
Whether you’ve just unlocked a new suit, or are keen to change up your wasteland fashion, this guide will teach you how to change armor in Rage 2. You won’t be able to do this from the start of the game though, which means you need to get out there and earn some other armor first. Exploring the wasteland in the same suit for days in and days out is a surefire way to build up some bad smells, so it’s good to change your armor every once in a while. Using this method makes it much easier. The best part about Rage 2 is clearly the combat, and that’s thanks in large part to the ridiculous superpowers you have available with your ranger suit. Since overdrive replenishes health, you just need to ensure to be at a distance from the guardian, but shouldn't have to worry about skeletons around you.įor the final tower, you have to fight two guardians at once. Once in overdrive, shoot the guardian with the Charged Pulse Cannon and they'll go down quickly. If it isn't charged up, use the overdrive kit to boost it. Use Slam to clear out any skeletons near you then use overdrive.
When the guardian spawns, find a large area where there is plenty of room to run back and forth. Keep moving and don't stay in one place long.
You need to use Shatter on the ones with shields and Slam whenever you get crowded. Use the Combat Shotgun and Ranger Assault Rifle to take out the regular skeletons.
There will be between 3 and 5 guardians per bone tower and 6 for this last one. It's also great to have crafting resources available in case you go through them all.įor this achievement, as well as the individual bone towers, you have to defeat about 15 skeletons before a guardian spawns. The battles here can get frenetic so it's best to have completed the base game and have a lot of perks unlocked before starting specifically maxed out health (via the CyberDoc in Wellspring), Slam, Shatter, Combat Shotgun, Ranger Assault Rifle and the Charged Pulse Cannon.īefore starting each bone tower, go to the vending machine on the second floor of the central cabin and max out your health and overdrive kits. This guide can also be used for the individual bone tower achievements.
